Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Southern Florida and Mexico to Brazil.

Size: 3 inches (7 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabit holes in shallow coral and rocky reefs and usually found between depths of 40 – 100 feet (12 – 30 m) where it feeds upon small crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Not purposely collected for the trade.
