These are not really lobsters, although they may look somewhat similar. They are more closely related to porcelain crabs, hermit crabs and somewhat, yet distantly to true crabs. They usually have a flattened body, with the abdomen typically folded under itself. In the wild, they wait on reef tops to catch small fish swimming past them.
